ABOUT YOU:

  • An exceptional customer focused results driven HR Business Partner with a strong work ethic
  • Tertiary qualified in HR or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a HR generalist business partnership role
  • Experience working in the health industry or community services is preferred (not essential)
  • Familiar working with relevant Victorian Public Health Enterprise Agreements including Union consultation an advantage
  • Able to provide timely recommendations and advice
  • Ability to build effective and efficient working relationships with key stakeholders and the wider HR team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of team

Responsibilities:

As a key member, the Human Resources Business Partner will build and maintain working relationships to understand and anticipate needs and priorities in partnering with managers and key stakeholders across multiple sites of our Health Service providing expert HR advice. This role will work on a range of Human Resources activities including Employee and Industrial Relations matters, change management, ensure Mercy Health code of conduct, values and policies are adhered to, deal with workforce conduct and performance matters and have input into work related/non-work related injury cases.

  • Flexible work location - based at Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg and / or Werribee Mercy Hospital, with travel across sites and working from home option
  • Permanent full time position
  • Work collaboratively with members of local and Group HR teams
  • Provide day to day management on HR matters
