JOB SUMMARY

As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will join a mission-driven Human Resources team who is passionate about enabling the company’s rapid growth, driving innovation, and creating a career-defining experience for each employee who makes Millennium part of their personal journey. Supporting a range of core Human Resources functions, you will help the company scale through creative problem-solving, surfacing trends and data-oriented insights, developing operational excellence and efficiencies across Human Resources functions, and building trusted relationships across the business.

This position’s internal job code is Human Resources Generalist. Our team is currently hiring for level 3.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP certifications or equivalent experience
  • Minium of 5 years of experience in Human Resources including organizational development, HR administration and business support
  • Working knowledge of CA state laws and regulations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Experience working with union and non-union employee populations

  • Strong analysis skills for researching, analyzing, developing, and leading in the implementation of Human Resources related programs and recommendations

SUMMARY PAY-RANGE

  • Level 3: $87,550 - $128,750

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a partner and advocate for your internal team as well as the leaders, managers, and employees you work with across the business; be a driver and catalyst for positive collaboration, communication, and business outcomes
  • Provide strategic and executional oversight and support for the full-cycle performance management process
  • Leverage data to identify people trends, assess the health of teams you partner with, and communicate actionable insights
  • Help lead the design, roll-out, and adoption of new HR processes that enable greater efficiencies, reporting capabilities, and transparent communication across the company
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances; lead with sound judgment, consistency, fairness, and strong stakeholder management
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to meet the evolving needs of the business and a dynamic and diverse employee population; be a creative problem-solver who can leverage existing resources and know when to source external support
  • Partner with your HR team and cross-functional stakeholders to bolster shared company culture and values and promote consistent employee engagement
  • Collaborate with HR management to develop and update HR policies and procedures, utilizing current and evolving trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Manage relationships with union representatives and participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
  • Manage various HR administration tasks, including maintaining accurate employee records, preparing HR reports, conducting exit interviews, and other responsibilities as needed
