ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an excellent communicator who has a genuine passion for the HR generalist skillset and enjoys partnering on HR matters end to end, with specific emphasis on ER/IR. We are looking for someone that has 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. You will have a high attention to detail, work effectively under pressure, and will be a team player with a high level of integrity.

  • Demonstrated facilitation skills coupled with the ability to lead and motivate others to co-operate in resolving conflicts over priorities and the use of resources.
  • Demonstrated effective performance in the areas of negotiation, change management, conflict resolution, including grievance handling, mediation and counselling of employees.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role provides generalist HR and industrial relations advice together with assisting with organisational development strategies and projects, providing employee relations assistance across the range of human resource functions and key human resources activities.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Providing specialist advice, guidance and high-level support regarding sensitive employee relations matters to managers and staff.
  • Co-ordinate projects that have been identified in the organisations Workforce Strategy.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and support to managers across a range of human resource functions including the interpretation of legislation and industrial agreements.
  • Conduct workplace investigations including making recommendations to management.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and stakeholders partnering with senior managers to facilitate cultural change.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites.
