Description:

Rothman Orthopaedics is looking to hire a full-time Human Resources Business Partner to support our PA, NJ and NY region! This position is mostly remote with travel required as needed throughout our PA and NJ regions.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for providing human resources consultation and support to designated business units or regional areas to define and execute HR strategies that enable the accomplishment of business objectives. The HRBP will utilize knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to multiple levels of leadership.
Leads organizational assessment that assists in converting strategies into result-driven actions. In addition, the HRBP will act as liaison with other HR functions including but not limited to talent acquisition, the full recruiting cycle, orientation, onboarding, training & development, benefits administration, leave management, compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and employee relations matters. Provides change management leadership as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field.
  • PHR, SPHR or SHRM Certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years in Healthcare Human Resources or equivalent industry.
  • Knowledge of Philadelphia, NJ and NY Employment law required

Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior leadership and management to align the HR strategy with business goals
  • Act as an advocate, trusted advisory, and strategic partner for employees, managers, and leaders
  • Use a data driven approach to drive impactful employee initiatives that will help the organization and region scale.
  • Facilitates new hire orientation and tracks 30 and 90 day stay interviews in follow up with new hires.
  • Maintain confidential employee files with all appropriate sign offs and disclosures
  • Coach and empower managers to be able to navigate HR programs and processes such as onboarding, employee relations, performance management and development.
  • Provides support to management on employee relations matters and attend unemployment compensation hearings as necessary, submits and tracks workers compensation claims
  • Manages benefits training, enrollment, administration and termination in its entirety.
  • Enable senior leadership and management to build high performing teams through engagement surveys, team effectiveness training and exercises.
  • Conducts exit interviews and sends feedback to the HRD
  • Participates in HR and Operational Committees and project teams as required.
  • Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
