Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes for all SQ vacancies, including volume recruitment for Casual Event Day Staff.
- Provide HR expertise, advice and support in performance management, workforce planning, and sensitive matters such as investigations and employee grievances.
- Undertake consultation and contribute to the development and implementation of key HR projects and initiatives, including the training and implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Provide effective and timely job analysis, design, position description development and job evaluation service across SQ and contribute to the maintenance of an accurate register of profiles.
- Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, practices and guidelines to delivering practical solutions in accordance with legislation, policy and procedure.
- Develop and maintain positive, constructive and consultative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in workforce planning, culture and organisational change initiatives, and contribute to building a collaborative culture of ’OneSQ’ aligned with the core values.
- Administration of workers compensation for SQ employees.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and management of an effective Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to support the organisations HRM practises.
- Provide specialist advice, interpretation, education and support to SQ staff on the full range of HR initiatives, Enterprise Agreement, Award, legislation policies, procedures and practices.
- Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with SQ’s policies and procedures, particularly in the areas of workplace health and safety, security, equal employment opportunity, workplace harassment, bullying and discrimination
Mandatory Qualifications and/or Experience
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
