Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for:
- In conjunction with the Senior HR Business Partner, partner with key stakeholders to build and maintain strong and trusted relationships across all areas of the Institute, with a focus on designated business areas, acting as the primary point of contact for employees and managers for people related matters.
- Deliver training, coaching, mentoring and support as required to Florey supervisors on human resource and employee relations matters.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to HR Coordinators.
- Support the Institute’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and play an active role on the relevant committees and working groups.
- Carefully manage employee relations matters as they arise and strictly in accordance with the enterprise agreement and applicable employment law.
Manage and conduct formal performance management and workplace investigations, including providing advice and recommendations to managers, liaise with unions and legal professionals as needed.

This position is a permanent, full-time time role. The role attracts an annual salary offer ranging from Higher Education Worker 8-1 (HEW 8-1) $100,032 to Higher Education Worker 8-5 (HEW 8-5) $108,281, commensurate with experience.
