Responsibilities:

As an HRBP, you will be responsible for a designated group of clients across the organization. Throughout the course of your duties, you will be required to:

  • Lead HR planning (e.g. annual talent planning, succession planning, longer-range workforce planning).
  • Provide advice and feedback to clients while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, employment legislation, and collective agreements.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and assistance to leaders in the analysis and resolution of employee relations, discipline and performance management issues.
  • Lead investigations into Code of Conduct and Harassment complaints and mediate complex employee relations issues.
  • Provide advice and feedback to clients on organizational design and structure changes.
  • Provide expertise related to change management including developing change management plans for various initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with Organizational Development Learning Specialists to develop, implement and/or facilitate programs to address team related issues (e.g. capabilities, engagement, culture, performance).
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for leadership positions.
  • Lead/participate in special projects.
