This is not just an advisory role….we are looking for an HRBP that wants ownership to implement and deliver.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities
- Strong problem solving skills; logical and analytical thinker, comfort with data and analytics
- Ability to organize and present information in a clear and concise way to executive leaders
- People leadership skills to enable working on cross functional teams.
- An undergraduate degree required
- Minimum of eight years related business and/or HR experience
Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
The HRBP will be the strategic HR partner for sub-divisional leadership teams within the Institutional Investment Group (IIG). The Institutional Investment Group for Vanguard enables retirement success for over 4.5 MM participants through our full-service offer. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partners with aligned business areas to develop HR strategies, execute HR initiatives, and support transformation to enable business outcomes.
- Makes recommendations and provides improvement insight related to talent attraction, development, retention, and HR delivery.
- Delivers insights to the business on key HR trends and metrics. Monitors various HR trends by preparing and analyzing reports from employee data. Presents analysis and recommendations to managers and works to develop action plans for addressing identified leadership, talent, and organizational opportunities.
- Provides advice and coaching to leaders and crew on Human Resources in alignment with the overall HR strategy.
- Monitors the effectiveness of the HR offer and proactively addresses the HR needs of the subdivision, maintaining strategic alignment between the business and HR functions.
- Partners with managers and crew on all human resources and employee relations issues. Partners with business area managers in the development of solutions for crew-related issues that affect business results.
- Drives value to the business through a specific people plan with senior business leaders. Conducts workforce planning within aligned business areas, and contributes to the enterprise-wide workforce plan.
- Provides guidance on diversity, inclusion, and engagement topics. Partners with other Human Resources specialists to strategize and implement the best outcomes for the assigned business areas and Vanguard at large.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
