JOB SUMMARY:

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will use your experience working in Human Resources to help the leadership team create or evolve the HR function.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to work with limited direction and supervision, while demonstrating good judgment and strict confidence.
  • Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
  • Must successfully complete any training or certification courses required to support or strengthen position.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.
  • Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows based databases.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources a related field and four years experience in Human Resources with progressively increasing responsibilities OR
  • Associate degree in Human Resources a related field and six years experience in Human Resources with progressively increasing responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Work with leadership to determine their current HR needs.
  • Work closely with HR and the recruitment team to help implement goals set by leadership.
  • Strategize ways to improve the relationship between leadership and employees.
  • Evaluate current departments and roles before comparing them to goals and objectives.
  • Work with recruitment to identify necessary roles for growth within the company.
  • Help oversee and create job descriptions to attract talented candidates.
  • Participate in the candidate screening/interviewing process to ensure new hires align with leaderships goals.
  • Draft new HR policies in accordance with organizational goals, industry trends and labor laws or regulations.
