Our Keele site is looking to recruit a Human Resources Coordinator on a permanent basis. We’re looking for someone who has worked in HR previously, and who can bring administrative and organisational excellence to the team.
You’ll be supporting colleagues and employees on HR related issues such as: benefits, onboarding and inductions and maintaining accurate records across the business. This is a fantastic role for those looking for their next step and who want to progress in their HR career.

PROFILE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Educated to GCSE level at a minimum in English and Maths
  • Previous experience of working within a HR Administration role is desirable
  • Previous experience of recruitment including the employee life cycle is advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interact competently at all levels within the organisation.
  • Excellent organisational skills in order to work constructively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills, able to use sound judgement and communicate decisions effectively
  • Able to travel to the Keele site regularly

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Timely and effective onboarding of all new colleagues into Gene Therapy Solutions and UK Corporate.
  • Acts as a primary liaison for routine administrative matters and answers a variety of queries, verbally or in writing
  • Provides guidance on processes and procedures administrative and HR related by managing the HR mailbox escalating to HRBP when necessary
  • Administrative tasks such as maintaining employee files, filing paperwork, completing employee documentation, recording data on each current employee; maintaining and filing paperwork of terminated or exiting employees
  • Support local Talent Acquisition teams with recruitment, conducting and helping to facilitate both virtual and onsite interviews.
  • Collating and producing monthly payroll reports
  • Administration of Company benefits schemes
  • Site Communications and Social Media Lead, working strategically with different teams such as Marketing and Corporate to produce and publish high quality, accurate content for both internal and external use.
  • Engagement champion, helps plan and facilitate employee engagement activities for the Keele site. Working to champion different causes and embodying and promoting DE&I inititiaves.
  • Update and maintain SOX controls and ensures full compliance / audit HR data
