Bureau Veritas is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our environmental laboratory in Montreal, QC.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Completion of Human Resources Certificate, Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a data entry/office administration/support role;
  • Previous experience working with an HRIS, preferably SuccessFactors;
  • High proficiency in MS Office with an emphasis on Outlook and Excel;
  • Knowledge of applicable provincial and federal legislation;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy;
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential material in a professional manner;
  • Open and inclusive mindset and a willingness to work in a team dynamic.

Recruitment and Selection

  • Conduct phone screening and background checks as needed;
  • Schedule and coordinate job interviews as needed;Maintain Job Descriptions bank

Responsibilities:

HR and HRIS Administration

  • Ensure all employee records are up to date in SuccessFactors;
  • Create offer letters and employment contracts using applicable templates;
  • Generate employment verification letters;
  • Draft employee letters for status changes, promotions, etc. as needed;
  • Maintain HR trackers and ensure accuracy of data;Work closely with Payroll to ensure all HR updates are timely and correct.

Personnel Files Management

  • Maintain electronic and physical employee records and HR files;
  • Effectively manage PeopleDoc filing system;Enter and track training records.

Benefits Administration

  • Administer enrollments and changes for all benefits plans;Be the primary point of contact for benefits and RRSP administration.

Recruitment and Selection

  • Conduct phone screening and background checks as needed;
  • Schedule and coordinate job interviews as needed;Maintain Job Descriptions bank.

Onboarding and Offboarding activities as required including, but not limited to:

  • Scheduling and coordinating various aspects of the onboarding process, such as account set-up, trainings and presentations, paperwork completions, etc.;
  • Ensuring that all the necessary equipment and supplies are available for new hires and rehires;
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process;Conducting exit interviews and coordinating various aspects of employee termination process.

Other Duties

  • Be an active advocate for employee engagement activities;
  • Manage building access and employee lockers;
  • Adhere to Company’s safety policies and procedures;
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.
