SUMMARY:

Legence is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing essential administrative support to the HR department and ensuring smooth HR operations. This position plays a crucial role in the employee lifecycle and will be involved in various HR functions. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years proven experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • High level of organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude with a focus on teamwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, such as coordinating pre-employment activities, preparing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and assisting with benefits enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Process employee changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations, in the HRIS system.
  • Responsible for the I-9 & E-Verify process including initial entry, audits, and re-verifications.
  • Facilitate background and security checks for employees requiring access to secure project sites.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and performance management processes.
  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee inquiries and escalate complex issues to the HR Manager as needed.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and presentations for management as required.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies in all HR-related activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
