Job Description: HR Coordinator

Job Summary:
As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department functions by overseeing various aspects of talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks. You will collaborate closely with the HR Manager to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the HR Manager on Management Trainings:
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating management training programs.
  • Ensure timely communication and logistics for training sessions.
  • Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition:
  • Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Conduct recruitment activities including resume screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Facilitate background checks and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Onboarding:
  • Administer the I-9 verification process and ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Identify areas for process improvement in the onboarding process and implement solutions.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management:
  • Manage the ATS for effective candidate tracking and documentation.
  • Handle candidate dispositioning, offer letter generation, and job postings.
  • Ensure the integrity and maintenance of the ATS system.
  • Identify applicant tracking system’s full capabilities and use to the best of its ability.
  • 30/60/90-Day Check-Ins:
  • Coordinate check-in meetings between new hires and relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate discussions and address any concerns or issues that arise during the onboarding period.
  • Welcome Letters and Employee Announcements:
  • Draft and distribute welcome letters to new hires.
  • Assist in the preparation and dissemination of employee announcements and communications.
  • Employee Relations Support:
  • Assist with employee relations communication and serve as a witness when necessary.
  • Provide support for employee relations initiatives.
  • Company SharePoint Maintenance
  • Maintain and update the company’s SharePoint platform with relevant sources, links, and documentation from each department.
  • Process Improvement
  • Create and implement structure for the onboarding process and improve employee experience.
  • Exit Interviews:
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees to gather feedback and insights.
  • Compile and analyze exit interview data for trends and areas of improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in human resources or related role.
  • Knowledge of talent acquisition processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications.

Benefits:

  • Hybrid work schedule: four remote days per week, will be required to come into the St. Paul office on Wednesdays.

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000
Compensation for this position will be dependent on qualifications.
