Reporting to the COO, Your deep knowledge across all aspects of Human Resources will be used to guide all HR processes for the Beamdog team. Your passion for people will lead your work as you support the employee lifecycle and promote a healthy workplace guided by Beamdog’s values for a highly technical team of game developers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience as an HR Generalist
  • High level of understanding of Canadian and provincial HR laws and regulations
  • Experience in payroll or benefits administration (Ceridian Powerpay preferred)
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Bamboo HR is a bonus)
  • Experience with Linkedin Recruiter, Indeed and other talent acquisition sites
  • **Experience with foreign worker programs is a bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all Talent Acquisition processes
  • Create, maintain and train staff on company policies. Ensure all staff are compliant with company policies and laws.
  • Manage HR programs including performance evaluations, compensation reviews, retention programs, foreign worker programs and more.
  • Manage physical office spaces
  • Administer payroll, RRSP and benefits programs along with keeping staff data up to date in HRIS systems
  • Advise managers at all levels on HR related issues
  • Collect and analyze data, HR/business trends to present to Senior Leadership team
  • Promote positive employee relations and model Beamdog values to staff. Create and manage initiatives to enhance employee retention, engagement and wellbeing.
