Job Description
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for providing front-line HR support to our employees and managers in Quebec and to the HR team, everyday will be different and provide a new challenge. You will be responsible to coordinate and deploy HR projects and initiatives and be responsible for several recruitment files.
TALENT ACQUISITION (50% OF THE TIME – ELIGIBLE TO RECRUITMENT COMMISSIONS $$$)
- Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed for Operations and corporate admin roles;
- Manage a fast, efficient selection process, and successfully close new hires for corporate and operations roles as per TA’s KPI’s;
- Propose and implement creative solutions to increase the quality and number of applicants, including new sources for active and passive candidates;
- Gain and maintain market and competitive intelligence and make recommendations on candidate selection, job descriptions, salary ranges, etc..
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or a related field or experience.
- Generalist experience or recruitment experience.
- Bilingual (English is required in order to service our customers and suppliers based in the United States and outside Quebec).
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships and influence skills.
- Entrepreneurial, “Out of the Box” and innovative thinking.
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple functions and manage time efficiently.
- Must be a “roll up your sleeves” type who is focused on implementation and achieving results.
- Action oriented, stellar work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence.
