Responsibilities:
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE IMPORTANT AT IPSOS?
As a Human Resources Generalist you will be working with the Vice President, Human Resources in 2 capacities: Business Partnership and Organizational Development, getting hands-on experience in HR programs that impact our culture and our business’ success. You will support our team enabling the HR strategy and looking for opportunities to make HR programs purposeful. Working alongside some of our business lines, you will act as a trusted advisor with employee relations, organizational structure, training and other areas that will support employee satisfaction and business growth.
Location: This role is currently hybrid (in office and at home) and is associated with our Toronto office.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of all employment laws and regulations and how they set the framework for people programs.
- Enhance employee experiences, such as onboarding, Diversity and Inclusion, Engagement Survey Action Plans, employee forums/lunch and learns.
- Develop and implement creative and engaging HR communication strategies and materials for diverse internal audiences, ensuring alignment with local culture, pulse, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and ERG activities.
- Coordinate and support key HR programs, including Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, and Training, leveraging Ipsos’ resources and aligning with country-specific requirements.
- Produce reports and insights for HR Lead and Canadian Leadership team. Analyze HR reports and make recommendations for coaching opportunities such as strategic hiring, performance management, budgeting/forecasting, diversity, exit data, Pulse, training initiatives and others.
- Eagerness to Learn & Leverage Technology: Demonstrates a strong interest in staying abreast of emerging HR technologies, including AI and automation tools, and actively seeks opportunities to apply these advancements to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
