Description:

Rome Health is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our human resources team.

The duties of the Human Resources Generalist will include:

  • Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation, including employee files and HRIS system
  • Completing employee on boarding, including new hire paperwork.
  • Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on benefits.
  • Meeting with new hires in the first week to go over and enroll them in the benefits.
  • Files PFL, NY state disability and other benefit for the employee in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrating effective communication and service within the department/hospital to ensure and to promote positive relations.
  • Participating in employee engagement initiatives and other HR-related programs.
  • Serves/Chairs committees as requested.
  • All other duties requested or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Two of health care experience in an administrative capacity.
Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office to include Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as information systems.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Associate degree in business management or a related field preferred
