JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a team-centric, diligent, and highly-organized Human Resources Generalist to join our vibrant team! The Human Resources Generalist will help us continue spreading the joy of gardening and making it accessible by assisting Sr. HRBP in running the daily functions of the HR department. If you are a team player with strong attention to detail who is passionate about sustainable living and making a difference, we would love to have you on our team! This is a full-time, on-site position based out of Tomball, TX.

  • Perform full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and recruitment to seamless onboarding, ensuring a smooth and effective transition for new hires.
  • Collaborate with Sr. HRBP in developing and implementing human resources policies and programs.
  • Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, recruitment, training, compensation, benefits administration, and total rewards.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, timely communication, and a smooth benefits experience for all employees.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records in the Company HRIS; handle various HR administrative tasks to support smooth HR operations.
  • Assist in organizing Company events and celebrations; boost staff morale and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Sr. HRBP or the Leadership Team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • 2+ years of HR experience.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing HRIS.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
