REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in HR
- Bilingual, fluent in both French & English (preferred)
- Understanding various provincial legislation is an asset
- Post- Secondary Education in HR
- Experience with an HRIS and ATS.
- Excellent time management and organization
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Occasional travel to the U.S. is required.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to HR related inquiries or requests and aiding Director of HR.
- Maintaining records of personnel-related data to ensure all employment requirements are met
- Assist in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating human resources and labor relations strategies including policies, programs and procedures to address our organization’s human resource requirements
- Interpretation of human resources policies, compensation and benefit programs and collective agreements
- Support candidate sourcing, job posting, drafting offer letters
- Onboarding new hires
- Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, salary scales and competency appraisal measures and systems
- Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes or modifications to existing policies.
