HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

ZELUS Scottsdale, Arizona, United States (On-site)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company’s managers to help them with their human resources needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
  • 3+ years of experience working in Human Resources
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full cycle of recruitment efforts.
  • Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities.
  • Assist in managing the performance review process and provide coaching to managers to ensure effective review feedback.
  • Aids public relations in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are complying.
  • Responds to management and employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Advises, counsels, and supports the operations management team on day-to-day employee relations resolution, employee performance management (development, improvement, and review process), and interpretation and execution of policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with safety to ensure a safe work environment and assist in managing light/modified duty.
  • Manage training needs through the Learning Management System and assist in identifying and developing training programs.
  • Investigate grievances and play an active role in ensuring a healthy safe work environment is maintained.
  • Attending local professional meetings and membership development meetings as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all levels throughout the company.
  • Assists in new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude towards company goals.
  • Assist in rollout of new HRIS and ensure managers are competent in new system.
