Description:
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Proven HR administrative experience.
- Experienced in MS Office knowledge, and knowledge using SAP HCM is desirable but not essential.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Dutch language.
- A team player with strong communication skills with a high degree of intercultural competence, sense of responsibility and initiative, and the ability to organize own workload and prioritize accordingly.
- The nature of the business sees regular change and a meticulous, flexible, forward thinking and collaborative approach is encouraged.
Responsibilities:
ROLE PURPOSE:
As our new HR Helpdesk, you will provide instant support, guidance, and answers to employees and managers regarding various HR-related inquiries and issues.
Whilst a generalist administrative background is required, there will also be the opportunity to focus on specific areas of HR depending on business requirements. Examples of administrative activities may include employment contracts, absence management, fleet, payroll liaison, and auditing etc.
TYPICAL DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Managing the HR Inbox and handling incoming queries. Channeling queries as appropriate. Escalating unusual tasks, matters resulting operational problems or potential risks to the organization.
- Administering processes for
o new employees,
o employment changes,
o absence, and
o leavers.
- Liaising with managers and colleagues to provide guidance and advice in support of queries as appropriate.
- Supporting the procure to pay process by creating POs, following-up on invoices and approvals as required.
- Responsible for the monthly payroll coordination to ensure accurate monthly payroll reporting and processing bi-weekly expense claims.
- Establishing and maintaining employee records in electronic format. Keeping all data up to date in HR systems.
- Ensuring compliance with all Management Systems for Quality, Environment, and Information Security for the scope of work. Cooperates in process reviews, improvement projects and audits.
- Responsible for the coordination of background screening and clearances for Getronics employees.
- Responsible for the management of company fleet, including, but not limited to new orders on company lease and hire cars, accident management, reporting, managing fuel cards and employee fines and charges. Maintains related car and fuel card information in all systems.
- Providing administrative support to other countries as and when required.
- Assisting in ad-hoc projects as required.
