Description:

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant in the agricultural industry in Lowell, Oregon. The incumbent will be a vital part of the HR team, providing essential support in various administrative functions. This role is pivotal in maintaining employee data, utilizing Microsoft Excel, and learning the applicant track system to screen candidates and schedule interviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee data with a high level of accuracy
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis tasks
  • Gain proficiency in the Applicant Track System to screen potential candidates
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate schedules for the HR team
  • Step in to cover duties as needed to ensure smooth HR operations
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and effective applicant tracking system
  • Collaborate with the HR team to quickly address and resolve any issues
  • Proactively learn new systems and processes to improve efficiency
  • Contribute to the overall HR function by participating in special projects and initiatives as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data analysis and reporting.
  • Data Entry skills are essential for maintaining and updating records.
  • Experience with Applicant Track Systems (ATS) is necessary for managing candidate data.
  • Ability to perform Applicant Screening to ensure potential employees meet job requirements.
  • Experience in Coordinating Schedules for interviews, meetings, and HR events is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Agriculture industry is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a Human Resources role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is necessary.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
