Description:

Look no further, Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is partnering with a growing client to immediately permanent a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. What you get to do every day

  • Lead all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
  • Head up human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Analyze reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
  • Establish recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
  • Represent your team at interdepartmental meetings with other managers
  • Build up the organization’s human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
  • Retain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
  • Monitor and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
  • Organize exit interviews and procedures
  • Institute management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Explore compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
  • Assist employees such that they follow all policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
  • 5+ years in human resources
  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • An understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
  • PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferred
  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
  • Ability to view issues objectively
  • Knowledge of HR software and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant experience
  • Unimpeachable ethics, integrity, and standards
  • Comfortable with handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
