Scope of the Position:
The Human Resources Intern will provide support for performing Human Resources related duties on a professional level while working closely with the Human Resources Team and plant supervisors and managers. The Human Resources Intern will assist in carrying out the day-to-day HR activities in the organization. The Human Resources Intern will assist with recruiting and onboarding. They will work with the HR Team to maintain confidentiality of personal employee information, company information, records, and related issues in accordance with all applicable laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Exposure to all relevant duties consistent with the Human Resources department.
  • Responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS policy CEVPL.00005.
  • Responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) as stated in 00001 – Corporate Quality Manual.
  • Additional Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently working towards a degree/diploma in the Human Resources related study field.
  • Basic Mathematical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize.
  • Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.
  • Detail oriented.

Working Conditions

  • Physical ability to lift 25lbs.
  • Manual dexterity require to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Overtime as required.
