Human Resources Investigator
Community Bridges, Inc. (CB I) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models.
Job Summary
The HR Investigator is responsible for investigating HR-related complaints and allegations, partnering with Compliance for investigations involving team members, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and promoting a culture of fairness and equality in the workplace. This position reports directly to the HR Manager and works with all levels of staff in across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare HR, a deep understanding of employment law, and a commitment to integrity.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong background in healthcare/behavioral health HR preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and HIPAA.
  • Excellent investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze evidence and make sound judgments based on facts.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest degree of integrity and discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders, including employees, managers, legal counsel, and compliance officers.
