Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The ACCP Human Resources Lead acts as a HR Business Partner and is responsible for developing and executing local HR strategies aligned with Regional and Corporate Strategy, optimizing leadership team effectiveness, creating a purposeful culture, driving the performance management cycle, building a talent management-succession plan, and leading a team of HR professionals. Reporting solid line to the Regional HR Lead and dotted line to the ACCP General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners with senior managers and key stakeholders, acts as a key advisor to leadership teams on organizational design initiatives and change management programs
  • Works pro-actively to engage and empower teams, developing initiatives and programs to create a purposeful Amgen culture for management and staff members
  • Directs and drives the performance management cycle, working with managers, coaching and developing staff
  • Builds a talent management-succession plan, identifies development needs, high potential and future talent
  • Ensures a clear, shared understanding of HR procedures-policies-processes-programs, ensures compliance to local and country legislation/best practice
  • Leads a team of 4 Human Resources professionals in charge of the employee journey, the day-to-day HR processes and responsibilities such as onboarding, payroll, benefits management, talent management and leadership development and training.
  • Leads the HR Capability (Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits, HR connect) and works closely with the Regional Leads of the COEs to align on strategy, processes and ongoing activities
