EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of five years of human resource management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR, highly desired.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a tenured HR professional to fill our Human Resources Manager position. In this role, you will manage the daily operational needs of the HR department as well as be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions, and activities. You will collaborate with other teams to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s overall business initiatives. People are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives.

STRATEGIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Coaches leaders to lead their teams, navigate difficult situations, and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Oversees and manages a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
  • Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resource management. Identifies trends that could affect organizational objectives and/or operational resources.
