Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
RECRUITMENT:
- Assist in preparing and distributing position advertisements, developing qualification statements, and crafting comprehensive job descriptions.
- Manage and actively participate in the full cycle of recruitment, selection, and orientation of staff.
- Participate in selection committees as needed, providing guidance on selection guidelines and assessment methods.
- Serve as a support on the orientation process for new staff, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Implement new recruitment tools and strategies as required to enhance the recruitment process.
- Manage and complete written employment agreements as required, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource and advisor for both management and the senior leadership team on matters related to employee/labour relations and performance management.
- Mitigate risks and ensure employer compliance with legislative requirements, providing guidance on relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage and facilitate staff recognition efforts to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Manage, maintain, and report on French Language Services (FLS) for the Centre to ensure compliance with language requirements.
- Provide guidance and support for accommodation requests, serving as a point of contact for employees and management.
- Coordinate ergonomic assessments for employees and facilitate necessary accommodations to promote workplace health and safety.
- Lead the Employee Engagement Committee, overseeing work plans and initiatives to foster a culture of engagement and satisfaction.
