SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Human Resources Manager role
  • Experience leading a team of HR professionals to effectively deliver the people plan and oversee effective resolution of case management
  • Understanding of the retail landscape either within the business or from a HR / People perspective
  • Exceptional people partner, ability to take a data led approach to driving change and influencing leaders
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create meaningful work relationships that best support our people
  • Experience coaching people to deliver feedback, proven ability in dispute resolution and proactive on finding the best solutions for people
  • Confidence in local and industry legislations and ability to inspect any changes that may impact COG’s people strategy
  • Ability to use your judgement to make impactful decisions that will inspire a positive outcome
  • Experience leading organisational design and implementation process end to endExperience managing and de-risking complex ER and IR cases

In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our team members thrive and excel in their roles. Leading a team of HR Partners and Advisors, your key responsibility will be to build and enable your team to execute our overarching Cotton On People Strategy ultimately underpinning our business success. By collaborating closely with our P&P function you will bring our EVP to life and contribute to an engaging team culture, uplifting our HRBP capability to future proof our team to meet our stakeholders needs now and into the future.
You will deeply embed yourself within our business to effectively partner with all levels of our organisation, providing HR advice and coaching to all leaders, deliver cyclical activities seamlessly and manage any people initiatives to best practice (Eg. Organisational Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Retention, Success Planning, Talent Management, the list goes on!). By staying up to date with local and industry regulations, you will ensure compliance and minimise any potential risks to our team and business.
