Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager (m/w/d) (part-time) is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support for our two locations in Germany. This role oversees day-to-day HR operations, including recordkeeping, payroll processing, and implementing best practices. The Human Resources Manager (m/w/d) manages the full recruitment process, from screening resumes to onboarding new hires. This position also plays a key role in employee relations by addressing concerns, upholding company policies, and ensuring compliance with German labor laws.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous Human Resources experience within a global organization; 3 years preferred
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations and 3+ years of experience working directly in an HR department in an HR Generalist capacity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
- Ability to operate in a changing and flexible environment
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and multitask
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets, and maintain reports and files

Responsibilities:
- Acts as the first point of contact for employees, the management team and the works council
- Manages recruitment process, facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Prepares and posts job advertisements, sources for candidates, screens applications, arranges and conducts interviews as required
- Performs all onboarding tasks for new hires
- Works alongside a small team to successfully complete day-to-day HR tasks
- Completes operational HR tasks as needed, including the preparation of payroll for our external payroll provider
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of federal and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Successfully handles a wide range of federal and employment law matters
- Contributes to international HR projects within the Mycronic group as assigned
