TalentWorld is hiring a Manager of Human Resources for our client located in North York.
Our client is seeking a Human Resource Manager to maintain and enhance the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices in a unionized environment.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a similar field
• 5 years of experience driving results in the labor relations and/or human resources field
• Proven record of leading and managing a team
• Excellent communication skills at the presentation level; must be able to convey information in a compelling and organized manner

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the human resources department
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy
• Bridge management and employee relations for unionized and non-unionized employees by addressing grievances, arbitrations or other issues
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and provincial requirements
• Develop strong partnerships with all levels of internal and external business associates
• Provide coaching, development, support, and direction to the human resources team
