Description:

TalentWorld is hiring a Manager of Human Resources for our client located in North York.
Our client is seeking a Human Resource Manager to maintain and enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices in an unionized environment.

Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the human resources department
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives that align with the overall business
  • strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations for unionized and non-unionized employees by
  • addressing grievances, arbitrations or other issues
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and
  • provincial requirements
  • Develop strong partnerships with all levels of internal and external business associates
  • Provide coaching, development, support, and direction to the human resources team

Human Resources Manager Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or similar field
  • 5 years of experience driving results in the labour relations and/or human resources field
  • Proven record of leading and managing a team
  • Excellent communication skills at the presentation level; must be able to convey information in a compelling and organized manner
