AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED HR MANAGER TO SUPPORT CHANGE AND EA NEGOTIATIONS

This role is with global Logistics organization that is going through exciting change and transformation. This organisation is part of a global network that has decades of logistics expertise and continues to invest in infrastructure, assets and people. They are committed to providing a strong service to their range of customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join this company during exciting change where this role will play a significant part in supporting transformation, restructuring and cultural change projects, particularly through a recent acquisition. This role has a broad HR generalist scope, including the below responsibilities:

  • Support a multisite, mostly blue collar workforce within the Logistics industry
  • Lead enterprise agreement negotiations ensuring favorable outcomes are achieved for the business
  • Coach, mentor and guide 1-2 direct reports
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and management teams to offer strategic planning, coaching, counsel, and resolutions on people-related matters, enabling the Society to achieve its business strategies and goals.
  • Build programs and initiatives to support the uplift of leadership capability

We are looking for someone that possesses the below skills and experience:

  • Strong HR Generalist experience, particularly experience in working within unionised environments and previous experience in dealing with unions and negotiating enterprise agreements
  • Experience in partnering with business/leadership teams to design, develop, and implement People and Culture strategies.
  • Adaptability and comfortable with change
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Good change management, facilitation, and coaching skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
