Description:

This is an exciting placement opportunity for a student to gain valuable experience supporting a busy Human Resources Department. The successful candidate will gain experience in the following areas:

  • Support the Human Resources Team with day to day generalist HR activity
  • Undertake administration duties supporting key HR Processes.
  • Assist with Recruitment & Selection administration.
  • Deal with HR related matters in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Assist with note taking at HR meetings and preparing meeting notes when required.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining all manual/computerised records
  • Assist with the ordering and distribution of staff uniforms.
  • HR Related projects when required.
  • Any other relevant duties or administration duties as and when required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently studying an undergraduate/3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management or a Business related discipline (HND/Degree) and is required to complete an industrial placement as part of qualification.
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal/written/interpersonal)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work within a high volume and varied work load whilst maintaining accuracy & attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Proficient in using Microsoft packages
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility and a ‘can do attitude’
  • Full driving licence and access to car
  • Eligibility to work in UK

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Previous Human Resources administration experience
