Description:
This is an exciting placement opportunity for a student to gain valuable experience supporting a busy Human Resources Department. The successful candidate will gain experience in the following areas:
- Support the Human Resources Team with day to day generalist HR activity
- Undertake administration duties supporting key HR Processes.
- Assist with Recruitment & Selection administration.
- Deal with HR related matters in a confidential and professional manner.
- Assist with note taking at HR meetings and preparing meeting notes when required.
- Assist with updating and maintaining all manual/computerised records
- Assist with the ordering and distribution of staff uniforms.
- HR Related projects when required.
- Any other relevant duties or administration duties as and when required.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently studying an undergraduate/3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management or a Business related discipline (HND/Degree) and is required to complete an industrial placement as part of qualification.
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal/written/interpersonal)
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work within a high volume and varied work load whilst maintaining accuracy & attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility and a ‘can do attitude’
- Full driving licence and access to car
- Eligibility to work in UK
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Previous Human Resources administration experience
