POSITION SUMMARY
The individual in this role will have a passion for identifying top talent, a strategic mindset, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills. The Recruiter will play a critical role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring exceptional candidates to fulfill the company’s distinct entertainment staffing requirements and spur company growth initiatives.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS/ABILITIES
5+ years managing recruitment within a HRIS.
Experience in talent acquisition within the Live Events / Entertainment industry preferred.
- Google Workspace, Netsuite, HubSpot, and Monday.com are preferred.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field accompanied by 3+ years of relevant recruiting experience.
In lieu of education, 5+ years of relevant recruiting experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of Talent Sourcing experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones. The person in this role must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time and must move about occasionally inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery and have routine contact with individuals in the office. The person in this role may need to climb stairs, travel and have the ability to move about both indoor and outdoor venues. This person in this role must be able to lift 25 lbs routinely and 50 lbs occasionally.
Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy for a multi-state and multi-divisional organization.
- Provide a tailored approach to recruitment based on division specific roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Utilize various sourcing techniques (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Creating and managing multiple requisitions across multiple recruitment channels.
- Collaborate with third party recruiters to seek out and fulfill director level roles as needed.
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and support.
- Organize and represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote our brand and attract top talent.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop recruitment campaigns and other recruitment efforts.
- Responsible for developing and updating job descriptions for all roles based on need.
- Ensure the organization remains compliant with state and federal laws regarding fair and non-discriminatory hiring practices
