    Our Corporate Services department is looking for a Human Resources Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the organization by implementing and administering human resources program, policies and initiatives that support the Cooperative’s employees, mission, and values.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of human resources principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of human resources and training software and tools.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.

EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1- 5 years of similar Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Cooperative experience a plus.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must pass a background and drug screening.
  • Valid Texas Drivers’ License and related insurance.

  • Adhere to professional and industry-specific standards and practices, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations.
  • Other duties in support of Corporate Services and the Cooperative.
