What are we looking for?
The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for recruitment & hiring, employee relations, benefits / payroll administration, organization development / training, OSHA, compensation management, personnel record maintenance, FMLA, ADA, worker’s compensation and CA employment law.
The HR Specialist acts as an advisor, coach, and guide in all aspects of the employment life cycle.
Requirements:
What specifically will you be doing?
- Partnering with leadership to execute HR programs and initiatives: Recruitment & hiring, employee relations, benefits / payroll administration, organization development/training, OSHA, compensation management, personnel record maintenance, FMLA, ADA, worker’s compensation and CA employment law.
- Managing all pre-employment screening requirements; background checks, employment verifications, pre-employment drug screens/physicals, new hire orientations.
- Leading and coordinating the safety program; investigating workplace injuries and near miss incidents.
- Collaborating with managers to complete Individual Development Plans and Performance Improvement Plans.
- Managing progressive disciplinary actions per established guidelines.
