Description:

This position is responsible for assisting the HR Manager and HR Department by providing administrative support in the day-to-day operations of the department. This includes onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, telephone and email inquiries and assisting with special projects and employee events. Our company’s culture supports customers in achieving their financial goals and dreams. You’ll be able to help contribute to this by:

  • Perform clerical tasks in support of the Human Resources team to include: Employment verification, HR Poster maintenance and compliance, Paid Leave Donations, Document Management, etc.
  • Input pay adjusts, promotions, internal transfers, job changes, etc. into HRIS system includes calculating & inputting new PTO amounts
  • Perform time-clock maintenance- as necessary
  • Maintain personnel files for all active and terminated employees
  • Scan & organize documents into appropriate categories
  • Maintain & review work authorization monthly & re-verify employees, as necessary. (As upcoming identification requirements / renewals come up, be in contact with the employee.)
  • Assist in maintaining Life Event & new hire benefit enrollments by as needed.
  • Enter New Hire information into vendor sites- as appropriate
  • Ensure supporting documentation is submitted to payroll- as appropriate
  • Update & send out the Employee Change Log
  • Maintain HR Inbox and assign the incoming emails to the appropriate person in HR
  • Facilitate department phone calls as necessary
  • Partner with the HR department to fill out and send any mail or faxes from the department
  • Order office supplies as necessary
  • Annually send Employment Policies to all employees and upload into employee files
  • Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection
  • Complying with all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures
  • Completing and passing all required regulatory compliance training as assigned
  • Perform any additional duties, tasks and projects as assigned by management

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & LICENSES:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • At least 2 years of professional office experience required
