YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and enthusiastic HR student to join our Regional Human Resources team. This is an exciting opportunity for a student to experience and participate in many key human resources functions that impact the employee life cycle. This will be a 4- or 8-month full-time term position starting in May 2024.
YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly learn how to use new software and online tools.
- Proficiency with MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree, with a focus on Human Resources, or Human Resources Diploma
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.

Responsibilities:
- Assist HR Business Partners with activities related to Performance Management, Engagement, Retention, Compensation, and Workforce Planning
- Support the talent acquisition process by completing requisitions and supporting Hiring Managers
- Respond to employee enquiries in a timely manner.
- Organize, prioritize, and process administrative requests such as running and analyzing reports, preparing presentations, completing grant applications, verifying background checks, and compiling information for audits.
- Participate in Global HR calls and assist with organizational-wide human resource programs, projects or initiatives as assigned.
