Description:

We are seeking a Human Resources Summer Student to join our team on a 4-month term from May until August 2024, located in downtown Regina.

The key responsibilities for the Human Resources Summer Student include:
- Assist HR team with ongoing HR projects and initiatives and support on all administrative tasks
- Assist with recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, phone call screening, coordinating interviews and reference checks
- Assist with revamping onboarding and new hire orientation
- Support the development of educational materials for various employee benefits
- Assist with keeping up to date employee information
- Collaborate in training initiatives, events, recognition ideas, etc.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL ALSO HAVE:
- Enrolled in a Human Resources, Business Administration program or related field
- Additional Human Resources training or experience is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ethics
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel
- Knowledge of an HRIS system would be an asset
