QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements: Five years of experience interviewing, investigating, compiling information, documenting decisions, interpreting guidelines and/or providing technical assistance relevant to the agency’s programs. Post secondary education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

- Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver’s license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.

Creates and Develops training materials for all Employment and Economic Services programs EES in order to provide complete, accurate and organized information on the Federal and State regulations, policies, and procedures of the agency, as well as other topics needed to promote the professional development of agency staff. Curriculum and training materials are developed utilizing a full spectrum of adult learning strategies and following best practices in instructional design. Present training programs to new and experienced EES staff to provide them with skills and knowledge necessary to implement Public Assistance programs in a timely, accurate and responsive manner.
Training of DCF employees is done to increase the overall knowledge of DCF policy and operations and to teach and improve professional skills. Monitors program improvement by evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting data for the goal of identifying problems and provide corrective action planning and create training to meet State and Federal compliance requirements for program effectiveness. Collaborates with EES Supervisors and Public Information PI Case Readers to identify need for trainings to increase case accuracy and comply with corrective action plans. Casework is evaluated to determine compliance with policies and procedures, training needs, and discrepancies in processes.
