HV Battery Module Design and Release Engineer

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Engineering experience
• Minimum 3 years in product engineering design, CAD, development and/or testing
• Minimum 1 years current design and release experience using the FCA releasing system
• Ability to review drawings and package studies in CAD
• Familiarity with source packages, specifications, DFMEA and DVP&R through the complete product cycle (from sourcing approval to serial production)
• Must have experience in one or more vehicle functional areas (Body, Interior, Chassis, Exterior, Electrical, Powertrain, Restraints)
• Experience in problem solving Strong technical research and writing skills Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Self-starter
• Google Suite expertise
• Strong Presentation Skills
• Legally eligible to work in Mexico

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Experience in the full product life cycle Reactive and/or DFSS black belt
• Previous High Voltage battery design and release experience
• Preferred experience with HV battery packs, modules and cells
• Minimum THREE (3) years CAD, CAE and/or Design Release experience at a OEM or Tier 1 supplier
• Preferred hands on experience working with HV batteries or other electro-mechanical assemblies
