ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Working safely is our company’s number one business objective. • Install/replace heating and air conditioning units in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications
• Ensure all installations of heating and cooling products (heat pumps, heating ventilation, and air conditioning) are completed in a timely manner
• Abide to all company, city, state, federal, and county code requirements while maintaining the highest level of customer service
• Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment to perform service to the equipment and/or mechanical system
• Completes work orders, task lists and documents to verify work performed
• Maintain stocked and organized service vehicle
• This is a “safety sensitive” position
• Perform other duties as assigned
• On a rare occasion, overnight travel could be required
• Regular Attendance is an essential function of this job.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must have five years of HVAC installation experience
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
• Ability to communicate, read, understand, and apply written text of a technical nature to answer questions, solve problems or complete job tasks
• Must be able to operate and maneuver company vehicles safely and constantly, follow relevant rules and regulations regarding vehicle operation, and avoid, where possible and practical, motor vehicle accidents
• Ability to work significant overtime as needed
• Ability to follow appropriate industry specific regulations related to the handling of hazardous materials
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Must be detail-oriented and organized

• Here at ASC, each pay period for payroll is the duration of 1 week. It begins on Wednesday and goes through the following Tuesday. All hourly positions here at ASC will be eligible for overtime, which includes any hours worked over 40 hours within the same pay period. Overtime also includes any time worked during a holiday or weekends (beginning at 12:00 AM Saturday).
