With a team of designers, engineers, project managers, administrators, and technical support staff dispersed between locations, Genoa provides expertise and dedicated support throughout the shipbuilding process. Responsibilities:

AS AN HVAC DESIGNER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Leading a team of designers with various degrees of experience to resolve problems and get the job done.
  • Collaborating with shipyards, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints.
  • Working with colleagues of various disciplines to fully design and integrate vessel compartments.
  • Performing load calculations to determine HVAC system requirements.
  • Developing HVAC system designs using Ship Constructor or similar software.
  • Selecting equipment, materials, and components for HVAC systems.
  • Creating production drawings for construction and installation.
  • Reviewing designs for compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards.
