HVAC & Piping Design Lead, Accommodation Systems

As HVAC & Piping Design Lead in our Accommodation Systems Division, you will hold the following responsibilities

• Coordinate and Manage HVAC & piping design project – Quality, budget & schedule
• Lead designer team, coordinate tasks and information between different project stakeholders
• Project progress reporting to Project Engineer
• Prepare technical specification and scope of supply for HVAC/Piping systems
• Act as a technical support to relevant internal parties during the life of the contract and for guarantee matters
• Act as contact person in HVAC & piping projects between design, construction, client and suppliers
• Create (preliminary / detailed) cost calculation for HVAC/Piping
• Prepare engineering schedule for HVAC & piping design part
• Attend technical meetings with Yard, Owner, Class and provide technical support to Sales & Project team
• Create Purchase request orders to procurement.
• Produce Inspection and test plans and necessary procedure in cooperation with ALMACO Quality engineer
• Follow the Company Quality System and participate to the continuous improvement of the Quality

To be successful in this position, we will need to have

• Excellent knowledge of and experience with HVAC/Piping design and technical challenges both regarding the manufacturing and installation
• Familiar with Construction practices, Certifying Authority requirements, International Codes and Standards
• Minimum 5 years of experience from ship building/offshore industry
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AVEVA (seen as benefit), Microsoft Office tools
