JOB SUMMARY:

Our construction team, based in Honolulu, HI, is looking for a dedicated HVAC/Plumbing Assistant Project Manager to contribute to the success of our commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management and bring at least 3 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design, estimating, and project management. Proficiency in construction management tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore is required. Prior experience with sizable commercial projects will be viewed favorably.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing design, estimating, and project management.
  • Competence in BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
  • Demonstrated project management and communication abilities.
  • Previous involvement in large commercial projects is preferred.
  • Must be local to Honolulu, HI, with a stable employment history.

  • Engage in the design phase, offering insights for the successful integration of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Aid in project cost estimation to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Employ construction management software (BlueBeam, MS Project, Procore) for project oversight and documentation.
  • Ensure project compliance with timelines, budget constraints, and quality expectations.
  • Facilitate effective communication among clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
  • Uphold quality assurance and safety standards across project life cycles.
  • Prepare comprehensive project updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
