SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Gas license - G2 required - G1 License is an asset
Excellent HVAC troubleshooting skills
Effective knowledge in HVAC automation systems is an asset
Refrigeration license (313A or 313D) is an asset.
Efficient time manager with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong work ethic with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in-person, over the phone and via e-mail.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position are diverse, but all center on providing consistent resident satisfaction while working towards out energy conservation goals. Within your portfolio of buildings you will problem-solve, collaborate with our HVAC and operations teams, and help direct plans for major investment in our HVAC systems.
Maintain focus on resident satisfaction and energy conservation
Troubleshoot and service all aspects of HVAC in high-rise apartment buildings including boilers (HTG/DHW), chillers, heat pumps, MUA, RTU and HRV/ERV systems
Service and maintain variable-frequency drives (VFD)
Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
Provide consistent monitoring and support of building automation systems
Willingness and ability to learn how to monitor and fine-tune buildings through our automation systems
Oversee HVAC-related mechanical projects
Maintain HVAC logs as required
Regularly update knowledge and skills through employer-sponsored educational programs
Comply with all safety and TSSA code requirements
