PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Plan, integrate, design, automate and deploy solutions for manufacturing processes for a variety of sensors and their calibrations. Focus continuously on measurement and control of the entire instrumentation stack, ensuring high precision while manufacturing at scale. Use statistical tools such as GR&R, CpK and Apple’s proprietary tools to better identify issues in the manufacturing process. Work with different cross functional teams across time-zones to gather requirements on changes and help deploy those changes continuously in the factory Maintain high code quality and periodically align with senior engineers on roadmap, reviews and functionality of the code. Develop and maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of processes and equipment required to scale the calibrations as we ramp to millions of units. Work with Ops teams to understand scaling constraints and optimise the flow and TT for MP readiness

SKILLS

Must have
Python/Lua /scripting
1-2 Years experience in C++
Nice to have
physics/optics/camera/image processing

A good candidate will have some experience in the above RnRs already and should be willing to learn the rest from the team. This can be a very hands-on job at times, requiring good organisational and project management skills. The most important skills is however being very keen, continuously trying to improve and understand the key technologies in the factory and making sure that the full end-2-end calibration is functioning as per the requirements.
