Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an ITC3 for the STARS team, you will be playing the role of a QA Automation Test Architect at JFS. You will be responsible for training and mentoring a team of software development specialists to create and maintain test automation scripts. Your role will involve hands on development and maintenance of scalable automated testing framework, performance testing, troubleshooting automation failures and communication with people with different technical backgrounds and experience levels. You will assist in development of a QA Automation practice for the STARS team.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain robust automation framework for creation of automated test scripts and automated tests reporting.
- Hands on with setting up cloud based platforms to allow running automated test scripts on web and mobile devices using virtual browsers.
- Adept in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines like Azure / Copado
- Designs and executes performance and load tests to assess systems scalability and performance.
- Generates synthetic test data and maintains test versioning to ensure test data aligns with testing requirements.
Schedule: Position requires 8 hours a day/5 days a week between 7a & 6p. In the event of emergencies or service outages, work outside these hours will be required.
Travel: Travel is not expected. Occasional training or professional development opportunities may require travel.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate, at minimum, must have the following:
Option 1:
- Completion of undergraduate core program coursework in information technology, electrical engineering or telecommunications;
- AND 5 yrs. exp. in information systems analysis, design & operations;
- AND 18 mos. exp. in project/program management;
- AND 2 courses or 6 mos. exp. in budgeting.
OR Option 2:
- 12 mos. exp. as Information Technology Consultant 2, 64162.
OR Option 3:
- The equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
