Job Description
The main purpose of this role is to respond to external service requests from our customers, promote the sales of Bosch Rexroth parts, equipment and services and ensure quality standards are delivered in accordance with deadlines.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Minimum Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or similar trade
  • 5 years field service or hydraulic system experience
  • Competent level of hydraulic knowledge
  • High focus on Quality and attention to detail
  • Dynamic performer and achiever
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office application

Responsibilities:

  • Serves our customer needs by studying the system requirement and developing proactive responses to Faults, maintenance, or modernization topics.
  • Ordering and gathering components, installation, performing tests, identifying further repairs, identify any spare parts sales opportunities.
  • Maintaining customer confidentiality
  • Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records. Inform Service Manager when the job is ready to be invoiced. (All timesheets to be completed daily or bi-daily. Service reports to be done upon job completion).
  • Work with all departments/business units (engineering, sales and/or other dept) to resolve customer issues.
  • Prepare service quotations in BeQik and follows up the quotation with the customer.
  • Notify Int./Ext. Service for any equipment that has been brought back to the workshop for strip and assessment, overhaul, etc. ensuring all relevant documentation and site contact details are attached.
  • Accurate completion of service documentation including having Service Reports signed by the customer or the customers authorized representative (where possible). Service reports should also be filled upon job completion.
  • Providing all relevant External Service documentation including vendor quotations, delivery dockets, service quotations, service reports and Stock Return from Service forms, for uploading to the correct job in BeQik.
  • Complete all service quotations in BeQik to ensure ease of availability and compliance.
  • Maintains and keeps records of tools and tool kits, review quarterly. (Calibration, test and tag etc.
  • Ensure SDS register is current and complete.
  • Ensures quality control through documenting of tests and installations including the supplying of customer documentation.
  • Ensures all site documentation including inductions, licenses and training is up to date.
  • Always be well presented while representing Bosch Rexroth while undertaking external service work on site or in the workshop.
  • Perform other duties as directed from time to time to meet Bosch Rexroth’s business and operational requirements.
